Since its inception in 1964,SERly MHSSchool,Bondamunda has never looked back and has kept up its incessant march on the path of progress.Students who have passed from this institution have excelled in their life. They have been successful in installing themselves in high posts in and abroad the country. Students who are reading in this school are highly disciplined and talented.They have strong determination & have the sense of self confidence.The atmosphere is homely. The teachers are brilliant and co-operative. The School is unique in itself. Though initially English as the medium of instruction was adopted, in order to cater the needs of local people Hindi and Oriya medium were introduced in the year 1971 . Telugu and Bengali Medium were also introduced in the year 1979-80 to meet the demands of a sizable section of people of the area. The school had been taking immense pride and glory for running four medium of instruction viz. Oriya, Hindi, Telugu and Bengali under a single roof till 2002.However as enrolment in Bengali and Telugu medium decreased gradually, in the year 2002 the railway authorities closed down these two medium. To fulfill the growing demands of the local people English medium under Central Board of Secondary Education, New Delhi was introduced in the year 2002. The CBSE Board was pleased to grant affiliation in the year 2005 for a period of three years . Having fulfilled the conditions of CBSE the school has got affiliation for another 05 years from 2008 to 2013 and again up to 2015.Now the School has got permanent affiliation from CBSE. After getting affiliation from CBSE the school is now upgraded from Secondary level to Senior Secondary level. Accordingly +2 Science , Arts and Commerce have been introduced in the School.
